Ancient Egypt Cinematic Tour

Ancient Egyptian Mythology · Interpretive Film Series

A series of short cinematic films in which a lifelike interpretation of Nefertiti serves as a narrative guide through Ancient Egyptian mythology and funerary traditions.

Accessible through QR codes or exhibition screens, each film connects directly to objects in the gallery, offering visitors a deeper understanding of their symbolic meaning and cultural context.

Rather than attempting historical reconstruction, the films evoke the mythological and spiritual world of Ancient Egypt — allowing visitors to encounter these traditions through a human presence inspired by the past.

Designed as an optional interpretive layer, the series extends the exhibition experience beyond the display case, combining cinematic storytelling with cultural interpretation.

The Basilisk Mystery – A Cinematic Quest Through Basel

Uncover the legend hidden in the streets

A cinematic city quest where visitors investigate the legend of the Basel Basilisk while exploring Basel. At key locations, visitors scan QR codes to unlock short atmospheric films revealing clues, stories, and fragments of myth. As the journey unfolds, the city itself becomes part of the narrative — familiar places gain a hidden layer of legend and mystery.

The project blends storytelling, cinema, and urban exploration to transform a city walk into an immersive cultural experience. It encourages visitors to discover historical sites through myth and atmosphere, making local heritage feel alive and memorable.
